Diwali Lights from Sew Preeti Quilts

Diwali Lights designed, pieced and quilted by me is in the November/December issue of the Quiltmaker Magazine.

The journey of this quilt began in January of this year, when I submitted the pattern to the Quiltmaker magazine. When I received the acceptance email, I was thrilled but realized that I won't be able to meet the March deadline (for publication in the September/October issue) due to other engagements.

Quiet Time for Christmas Eve from From My Carolina Home

Earlier this week, we had a lovely dinner with friends, then drove over to the Lake Julian Festival of Lights, a drive through light show with part of the proceeds benefiting Special Olympics. This one is much smaller than the big Tryon show, or the ones that take up a stadium parking lot, but has more charm. The path winds around the park next to Lake Julian, a small lake in Arden, NC.
